Reiki is a healing that can be done without the person being present.
This can only be done by a Reiki II Practitioner or a Reiki Master.
Reiki knows no boundaries or barriers. As a suitably attuned Reiki
practitioner I can send the wonderful healing properties of Reiki to anyone or
anything, anywhere in the world, at any time.
It does not matter that I have never met the receiver or that I don't even
know what the receiver looks like.
Using the Reiki symbols and mantras taught by my Reiki Master I am able to
send Reiki to another room, another City, another Country or even another
Planet!
The distant Reiki session is just as strong, if not stronger, than a 'hands- on'
Reiki session. The effects can be instant.
By using Reiki in this way any number of people, animals or events can
receive the self-healing benefits of Reiki simultaneously. Far from drawing on
my own energies I act as a channel of the energy. It is like me drawing the
life force energy that is all around us into my body, which I then channel to
the receiver.
